Glenn Helder

They say the best people have the opportunity to constantly reinvent their lives. Glenn Helder is without a doubt one of those individuals. Born into a very musical family (his father played in a band for over 45 years and his brother John Bright is a member of the band of Hans Dulfer) is his whole life surrounded by music. Glenn is therefore an experienced musician on a wide range of instruments but he favors the drums. According to himself he ran home after school to sit behind his drum kit as soon as possible. Besides the drums Glenn was crazy about football at an early age. When the people around him discovered how quickly this other talent developed it went fast. He ended up in the Ajax youth academy to proceed with the colors of Vitesse, Sparta, Arsenal, Benfica and the Dutch national team.
Glenn has traded the football for the nightclubs to share his second passion with the public, the drums. He plays the drums as he played football, by feeling. Fast and rhythmic. By responding to the public and drumming along to the beats of DJs his name appears at the biggest festivals in the Netherlands. Therefore he can bring his musical skills to the most exclusive hotspots in Netherlands. Wherever he sits behind the drums people appreciate his music. His personal approach to live percussion, when mixed with a DJ set is that it should not dominate, but that it should add a little extra. Glenn Helder is a dedicated and talented performer who already played alongside all the top DJs in the Netherlands. And he's not done yet!
